Choosing a College Writing Service
Choosing a College Writing ServiceWhen people think of writing services, they often wonder what college writing service can do for them. There are many different types of writing that students are forced to write when going to college, such as essays, research papers, and projects. Even some essay services are available, with an alternative for students to write the whole assignment on their own. However, writing assignments are different than a standard essay or other type of written material, where there is a specific level of grammar or content. College writing is more about providing students the opportunity to have their own voice in the text. This means there will be more creative use of language and ideas. To meet the needs of a college writing service, it is important to find one that works within the constraints of the service.First, a writing service needs to meet certain criteria. For example, it needs to have a well-established background and reputation within the writing community. It should be able to put together a service that can write for large audiences while adhering to the style guidelines set forth by the client. The students need to be satisfied with the results. Every service has a number of options for how to test the level of satisfaction of students and what they need. They can receive feedback, or they can be asked to complete surveys or otherwise answer questions. The college writing service should also be able to produce acceptable writing for different audiences. It needs to be able to produce a good essay for a class assignment. Students who are writing a thesis paper may need to know it will be read by peers and instructors. The service must have a proven track record with other customers. When it comes to standards for support, students need to be confident that they will be getting good support from the service. A service that is able to support writing needs to show clear examples of projects it has handled. If a service cannot o ffer examples, there is a strong possibility that the work they do will not match the expectations of the students. The students will feel more comfortable if the service they choose provides support and guidance with the entire project. As long as the support is present, the students will get results and be happy with their work. If students feel less confident about the work they have done, it may not be worth the investment in time and money.

Ateneo Entrance Exam Essay Free Essays
Hazel Grace Lancaster (The Fault in Our Stars by John Green) This little line from one of my favorite books helped me start my journey of self-discovery. Before, I really did consider myself as someone very inexorability. To the world, Iââ¬â¢m Just an average girl that nobody will ever notice. We will write a custom essay sample on Ateneo Entrance Exam Essay or any similar topic only for you Order Now Maybe never will be noticed in an extraordinary way, but Iââ¬â¢m determined to make my mark. But flirt things first, I had to discover myself and define who I really am. My first moment of self-discovery began, actually, when first developed my love for books. And that moment happened way, way back when I was still a young child. Nothing made me happier than going to National, Power Books or Fully Booked to go see what new storybook, magazine or novel was available. To this day going book shopping, an activity most people my age would find as agonizingly boring, is an opportunity to expand my knowledge and vocabulary. The only thing I need to improve on right now Is, admittedly, my book choices. My Dad constantly reminds me to move onto more young adult publications and cut back on the childrenââ¬â¢s novels. Books are my flirt great love. Through them, I can go on fantastic adventures that become almost real in my imagination. I also relate to the characters In terms of their personalities and the things they do In the story. From the protagonist, antagonist and all the other characters in between, I can find someone or even something I can relate to in a book. My current favorite books are The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, where I have learned a great many deal of new words such as hamster, thyroidal, prototypical, narcissistic, bacchanalia and so many other terms that were once too sophisticated or me to understand until I looked them up In the dictionary. The Fault In our stars is a heartwarming and yet also heartbreaking love story of two young cancer-stricken teenagers who find their own little infinity together within their limited number of days. Iââ¬â¢d tell you more but I wouldnââ¬â¢t want to spoil the entire novel. Second in my favorites list would have to be The Book Thief by Markus Sake. Here, I saw World War II and the horrors of the Holocaust through a young girl like myself, who was unable to read and write until she was given to a foster family in Germany. Lies Impinge then later befriends Max Vandenberg, a Jewish man who hides in her family basement to escape the Nazis. Again, I will not spoil this great work and you will have to read it yourself. This book really strikes me as something that can really make us all question our humanity. As almost all of us know, the Holocaust in World War II was the most horrifying genocide in the entire world. Millions of men, women and children all executed Just because of their religion. If you ask me, Doll Hitler must have been both insane and blind. Did he not know that in World War l, approximately 96,000 Jewish soldiers fought for Germany? It pains me to think that Hitler did not remember that. The Book Thief is most definitely one of those war novels that will have you questioning mankindââ¬â¢s humanity. As for a favorite book series, I would have to say that the How to Train Your Dragon series by British author Caressed Jewell. I admit, itââ¬â¢s a childrenââ¬â¢s books series but I really enjoy reading the 1 OFF imagination. In fact, this beloved series has been turned into two films and a TV show. But Iââ¬â¢ll tell you all about it later. Indeed, through reading books of all kinds I eave discovered things about myself I didnââ¬â¢t even know were there. I discovered that I have a talent for writing and storytelling. And I have grown to love these two hobbies, which I hope that I can turn into a Job by becoming a writer or a Journalist when I grow up. Aside from reading, I have also experienced being in academic contests in my school where I have begun to define myself as an intellectual. One of those contests is the Essay Writing Contest the school has every year. I never really win any prizes for my compositions but itââ¬â¢s always so much fun to compete. Through essay writing contests, my writing ability is steadily honed and constantly improved with every essay I write. So part of my Journey of self-discovery has been accomplished through the means of books and writing. The other part is, honestly, what Vive been recently obsessing about. ââ¬Å"Everything we know about you guysâ⬠¦ Is wrong! â⬠ââ¬â Hiccup Horrendous Haddock Ill (How to Train Your Dragon Movie) That line from an animated movie by Trademarks Animation has always been embedded in my memory. The first part of this essay focused on my love for books and how reading and writing eave helped me discover who I am in terms of what I can do in this world. This part will now focus on who I truly am as a person. How to Train Your Dragon is a 2010 animated film directed by Dean Edibles and Chris Sanders under Trademarks Animation. Its story revolves around a young Viking teenager named Hiccup (Yeah, I know. The name is pretty unusual. ) who lives in the fictional dragon fighting island of Beer. In Beer, fighting dragons is as necessary as breathing air to live. However, Hiccup is the runt of the village and is physically unable to fight dragons and cannot vive up to his fatherââ¬â¢s expectations. Incidentally, his father, Stoics the Vast, is the tribe chief. But when Hiccup creates an invention that shoots down an ultra rare dragon species known as the Night Fury and attempts to slay it, the young Viking then finds himself unable to do so. This then leads to him freeing it and establishing a forbidden friendship with the dragon, whom he names Toothless. In Hiccup world, befriending a dragon is the highest act of treason. And yet in the end, Hiccup and Toothlessââ¬â¢ amazingly strong bond enables them to change the relationship between he dragons and Vikings of Beer. Yes, it is an animated movie. But it is not strictly for kids only. I had a real moment of self-discovery and self-definition when I watched this at my best friendââ¬â¢s recommendation. And I was immediately awestruck by the movie on so many levels. The detail on the animation was superb, the lighting was perfect, the music score was Just phenomenally beautiful. But what really touched my heart was the story. I really relate to Hiccup. He is left-handed, physically not in the best of shape, intelligent and extremely different from the rest of his peers. L, myself, am also left- ended, physically weak, mentally strong andâ⬠¦ Different. I often look at my friends and other people and I canââ¬â¢t help but sometimes feel that Iââ¬â¢m Just too different. I donââ¬â¢t like all the things everyone else likes and sometimes I donââ¬â¢t even understand current trends and stick to the things I know. Like Hiccup, I am different. And also like Hiccup, I have embraced my difference. Thanks to this film (and its TV series and sequel) I have figured out who I am as a person. Everyone discovers a new trend and they all zone. And when someone tries to change me, I steadfastly refuse to do so. I am an individual. And I am proud of it. Iââ¬â¢m different from everyone else and thatââ¬â¢s okay. Truth be told, weââ¬â¢re all different. Weââ¬â¢re Just scared to show the world our individualistic. Thatââ¬â¢s why I try hard to stay true to myself and make sure nobody and nothing turns me into something I am not. But I also remind myself to keep an open mind and broaden my horizons. When I experience new things, it helps me discover more interesting characteristics that help define myself as a person. And thatââ¬â¢s exactly what Hiccup does. He accepts his individuality and tries to do things nobody has ever tried before. Throughout the film, TV series and sequel, Hiccup stayed true to himself and didnââ¬â¢t allow anyone to change him. If you must know, I have recently watched How to Train Your Dragon 2 and had another great moment of realization. In the second film, Hiccup is now a young adult and is currently trying to find himself. This is exactly what Iââ¬â¢m doing right now, even as I write this. I apologize if this essay may seem haphazardly constructed. I must admit, my writing style does tend to confuse some people. But thatââ¬â¢s essentially how I have defined myself as a person, through books, writing and argons. And to tell you the truth, self-discovery and defining yourself as a person never stops. As the years go by, you will have more experiences, more moments that help you realize that thereââ¬â¢s more to you than meets the eye. For me, Iââ¬â¢m still pretty young so I still have a long way to go until I can complete my personal definition. In case some of you may not fully know me yet, allow me to tell you once again who I am. I am an individual with a love for writing, making stories, reading books, obsessed with dragons. And basically, I am different. And I am proud to be different. How to cite Ateneo Entrance Exam Essay, Essays

Throughout the past years, col... free essay sample
Throughout the past years, college athletics have experienced exponential growth in just the United States alone. No matter if its basketball, volleyball, baseball, or football, ever since the 2000s, collegiate athletics have raked in thousands of dollars each year to their own schools, as well as an increasing fan-based viewership. In reference to USA Today, the sports column has a page that, in detail, shows the collegiate revenues they make from sports. Sitting at the number one position is Texas A;M with $194,388,450, while spot number four is reserved for Alabama with $145,277,366 (Sports Finances). Even with this lump sum of money, student athletes are not making any compensation. But the NCAA rules clearly state in the amateurism page, You are not eligible for participation in a sport if you have ever: Taken pay, or the promise of pay, for competing in that sport (Amateurism). Because of this law, many athletes are taking illegal, black market money to help afford their college fees. We will write a custom essay sample on Throughout the past years, col or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page Though many people will argue they are just students and should not be paid for their athletic abilities, I disagree and say even though they are considered amateurs, student athletes who are not on scholarships struggle to pay their tuition and are more likely to not finish their degree and move to the next level of play. Student athletes are the number one reason why the departments make a lot of revenue. The viewers watching fall in love with the players and the game they play and the money flows from them. These individuals work all day long to bring in revenue for their Universities, but never make any of that money back. Athletes are technically working for the schools and creating the most revenue for the colleges that gets little attention outside of the sports. Every other athlete beyond this level are in the paying field yet collegiate athletes are not. In sports digest one wrote, College athletes are being exploited by their schools, which make millions of dollars off of intercollegiate athletics (Sports Digest). Athletes are being used to boost the personal image of colleges, yet are getting no credit for it. People often say that once an athlete is paid they should be considered professionals. This statement lacks support when the Amateur Hockey League pays their athletes even though they should be considered ameteur. Saying that college athletes are amateurs also says they cannot promote themselves to potential professional level coaches. The NCAA clearly says, student-athletes shall bea amateurs.. .and should be protected from exploitation by profession and commercial enterprises (Amateurism). Although in 2000 the NCAA approved of student athletes being capable of part time jobs paying up to $2,000 throughout the school year. Even this sounds quite ridiculous considering the costs of education has risen in previous years that the $2,000 can barely cover school feels, but students are also not allowed to promote themselves. The question arises with the amount of time spent dedicated to not only the teams and their sport but school as well, how would they ever have time for a job? ESPN conducted a documentary called Fab Five featuring one of the players from Michigan saying how hard it was to see his own jersey in the stands with his number but without his name, yet the sponsor was promoting his number and he made no compensation off of this. Later in his speech, he explains how he could not even afford his own jersey that the fans were wearing for his mother. Some others that support student athletes, is that full-ride scholarships are not actually covering all their expenses. Many athletes are not able to afford for their parents to watch one of their athletic games or meets. A good example of this is from 2010 when a Duke basketball player was valued at $1,025,656 while living just $732 above the poverty line and a scholarship shortfall of $1,995 (The Price of Poverty in Big Time College Sports). With so much publicity of these athletes, it clearly goes without saying no one reports about their poverty levels. But with the lack of money, they resort to the black-markets. Where people who support the university give them money, cars, or mostly anything they want as long as they go to the university that the person supports. There has been multiple cases of these wrong acts, but one that has stood out amongst most is the Reggie Bush case, who was a running back during 2003-2005 for the University of Southern California. He violated NCAA rules by being paid from individuals of that university in order to persuade him to attend there. After receiving the Heisman Trophy, his case appeared with all these violations and was forced to give the trophy back. Bush came from an un-wealthy neighborhood and although he received a full-ride scholarship he was not able to afford all his fees. His mother at the time was also struggling to pay her bills and a supporter of USC offered to pay his mothers bills. Bush was pressured to take this offer since there was no other option for his mother to afford those bills, including her rent. If he was to be paid by the NCAA for playing, he would have chosen any university of his liking. Although these supports action are not illegal, they cause problems with team competitions amongst the NCAA. The universities that use this skill to their advantage recruit top players in sports, this causes other school to partake in this act to try and make the game fair.

Philosopher John Rawls essays
Philosopher John Rawls essays John Rawls, a welfare state Liberal who worked during the 1970s, contributed a great amount to philosophical studies. One of his ideas, the original position, was his most lasting contribution to theories on social justice. Original Position is a theoretical situation in which Rawl uses the moral point of view for the interest of the individual. However, a restriction is placed upon the reasoning of the situation. The rationalization does not include information that would be morally irrelevant to the choice of principles of justice. This restriction on the reasoning is embodied in Rawls Veil of Ignorance, which does not include information such as a principals age, sex, religion, wants, or abilities. According to Rawls, two principles of justice would be selected that would affirm the equality of basic rights. According to the difference principle, inequalities are unjust unless removing them would worsen the situations of the members of the lower class of society. This dif ference principle would create as much equality as possible. The second principal is the Democratic Procedural, which is a pure-proceduralist approach to the determination of moral principles such as free speech and equal votes. These principles, along with Rawls idea of Reflective Equilibrium, are widely agreed principles of public morality. Feminists, however, believe that Rawls theory of justice has many gaps and flaws. Although the American society supposedly accounts for the principle of equality of opportunity, feminists agree that our society has not completely accepted this principle. A piece from Rawls original position helps to convey the feminists point of view. Among the essential features of this situation is that no one knows his place in society, his class position or social status, nor does anyone know his fortune in the distribution of natural assets and abilities, his intelligence, ...

Five Facts to Know About Electric Cars
Five Facts to Know About Electric Cars How much do you know about electric cars? Whether youre in the market for a new or used electric car or already own an electric car and just want more information about how your car operates; wellà expand on some of the simpler details about the vehicles of now and the future. Gas Tanks Go Empty - Batteries Go Dead This fact has resulted in much range anxiety among prospective electric car buyers and in fact, has also contributed to the popularity of hybrid cars. But just like other batteries, car batteries can be recharged. It is generally recommended that electric cars be plugged in overnight for a full charge, but charging stations are beginning to be put into place that would allow an electric car to become charged in as few as 20 minutes, though there is concern the quick charge doesnt last as long as an overnight charge. Hybrid Cars Are Two Car Types in One Owning an electric car doesnt mean you must own a second car unless you frequently need to travel long distances. Hybrid electric cars, because they can go unlimited distances by relying on an onboard gas combustion engine, can be an alternative if thats the case. The range of electric cars can vary and is affected by things like weight and driving habits. Electric Cars Tend to Be Smaller However, they are equally as safe as gas-powered cars of the same class. The reason many cars are small is due to the low energy density of batteries and the tie in between weight and range. Electric Cars Can Be Pricier While the price of an EV is set by market forces, and some have argued that electric cars should be priced lower than conventional because, on an equivalent production basis, they are cheaper to build with fewer parts. Electric cars can also be cheaper to maintain for the same reason, though they do require the purchase of a replacement battery about every 4 to 5 years. Electric Cars Have Multiple Benefits They provide a quieter ride with less air pollution. They are also less costly to operate, something to keep in mind if your favorite electric car falls slightly out of your budget range. Electric cars should be more reliable since they have fewer parts. And while the idea of an electric car may seem knew, in reality, they have been around for nearly 150 years.

Marconi Jicks-Managing change in a company in severe crisis Essay
Marconi Jicks-Managing change in a company in severe crisis - Essay Example First, Managing Individual Emotions and Reactions to Change is the most complex and difficult due to the fact that nobody can please everybody and most especially nobody can satisfy the desire and need of everybody. Each person has needs that define their motivation which ultimately dictate their emotions and reactions. The Marconi stakeholders are no different. The mismanagement of the individualââ¬â¢s emotion and the resulting reaction to change is likened to a virus that can infect everybody making the company collectively resistant to any needed change. Second, Implementing the Change Agenda, Incorporating Hard and Soft Elements, after being threatened July 2001 to be put out of the job, each of Marconiââ¬â¢s remaining employees have their backs against the wall already. False application of the diplomatic or persuasive approach also known as the soft approach may not hold true to everybody the same is true to the opposite or hard approach. And Fifth, Leadership of Change is the least complex and difficult of all the issues since Mike Parton already has the imprimatur to effect change from the leadership of Marconi and is recognized by all stakeholders. Men are nonetheless resilient to change. Adversities or crisis in a culture normally makes the entire society more cohesive in achieving a common goal. However, a crisis that threatens the very livelihood of the employees tends to make each individual to prioritize providing for their family first instead of dwelling in abstract concepts such as the impetus to change. The measure of the conferenceââ¬â¢s impact can be effectively determined by the amount of change that happened thence and the actual support it garnered amongst the different stakeholders. The conference was able to show the presence of Mike Parton and the commitment of the leadership of Marconi which settled the percolating restiveness in the company amongst the stakeholders. The conference most

Current issues in Public Relations Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2750 words
Current issues in Public Relations - Essay Example However, it is because of this reason that there has been concern and effort to control PR efforts utilizing these methods (Yoon 2005; International Public Relations Association (IPRA) 2007). Thus, there is a for continuous and developing research on the opportunities, limitations and concerns raised regarding SEO, RSS and social communication networks in contemporary PR practice. Major trend in information and telecommunication technologies have focused on personalizing systems for its users. According to Weber and her associates (2003) the market, pertaining to internet users, has decidedly been customer driven. SEO's are one of the obvious indications of the demand power of internet users. Queries are dependent on users' prerogative and SEO service providers model their products to suit the convenience of their users. In a similar manner, RSS feeds are based on demand or subscription based on user supplied parameters. In the case of social network communication, there are voluntary membership is often a requirements and considerable privacy clauses are implemented. On the other hand, traditional PR initiatives have been characterized to be general in structure and composition but specifically motivated (Fall 2004). One of the major considerations has always how to get a specific message to as many audiences without alienating third parties. In the case of these technologies, PR campaigns directed through these channels are considered to be more streamlined and efficient (IPRA 2007). Moreover, feedback channels allow for improving strategies and materials. However, this also creates vulnerabilities: there is greater risk of critique, increased technological requirements to monitor reactions and greater necessity to develop social, political and cultural sensitivity (Fall 2004). In a similar vein, Curtin and Gaither (2008) point out that there is a need to understand how these developments are changing PR audiences and communication channels. Considering the range and projected growth of these channels and internet communication in general, its significance is expected to continue to rise. One factor that has particularly supported this trend is the abundance of independent and open source technologies that have become the foundation of personal communication systems and content requirements. This has been apparent in the communication channels to be considered in this study as well. Relevance to the Marketing Mix and Strategies The need to understand the significance of new PR communication channels is at the core of marketing principles or concerns. One of the common realizations is that marketing fundamentals change significantly given that SEO, RSS and social networking operate digitally and often virtually. Considering the impact to the marketing mix, alone, there are significant competencies that have to become attuned to new perspectives (Pieczka 2002). One of the important realizations is that though the internet effectively eliminates traditional barriers to communication but also raised exposure, access and security threats. For the purpose of this study, the relevance of the topic to marketing professionals will be discussed based on how SEO, RSS and social networking. There is generally no variation in marketing materials developed for traditional and
